About Renee Flannagan, M. D.
Dr. Flannagan joined the practice in January 2021. She’s worked in the Pittsburgh area caring for patients in gastroenterology and hepatology since 2004.
After earning her Medical Doctorate in 1998 from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Dr. Flannagan completed her residency and fellowship in gastroenterology at Allegheny General Hospital. While working as a gastroenterologist for Allegheny Health Network, she also performed fellowship teaching and served on the Bethel Park Ambulatory Center executive committee. She also has experience in private practice management during her years with the Center for Digestive Health and Nutrition.
Dr. Flannagan is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. She is board certified in Gastroenterology, as well as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). She speaks fluent Spanish.
